BMW the 7th E38 series (from 1994 to 2002 release)

The 3rd generation of the BMW 7-sedans of the luxury E38 series was for the first time presented in 1995.

BMWs 7 Series were issued in the following options: 725tdi, 730d, 730i, 735i, 740i, 740iL, 750iL, 740iL Protection and 750iL Protection. Electronics also in many respects defines characteristics of a suspension bracket and systems of active safety. For example, systems of regulation of provision of a body of NR and automatic stabilization of a body of ASC care for comfort of passengers when driving. ECS by means of electronics operates rigidity of shock-absorbers.

The version 750iL is in addition completed with the Park Distance Control system, the 5-staged automatic transmission self-regulated by the suspension bracket, the cell phone with a voice set of number warmed by lobbies and back seats, the audio system consisting of 14 loudspeakers which power makes 440 Watts and aluminum disks. The system of ventilation and control of temperature allows to establish various climate for the driver and passengers forward and back seats.

BMW of the 7th series was also offered with the body extended on 13 cm a limousine (740iL, 750iL) and with lengthening on 38 cm (BMW 750iXL). All additional space is provided to back passengers who can extend legs practically. Here, undoubtedly, the luxury reigns. Smart "bimmer" kept in himself all family advantages - magnificent dynamics and controllability. Thanks to the flagman V12 developing 326 forces, the limousine disperses to one hundred for six with small seconds.

On smoothness of the course engineers of BMW reached compromise between controllability and comfort. The car is rather smooth to conform to requirements of a representative class, and is rather exact in reactions that it will be pleasant to the driver who is a good judge of bystry driving. Yes, it is possible to drive on direct autobahns on any of the German leaders, but only BMW in addition perfectly behaves on twisting roads. It is difficult "to punch" rather rigid suspension bracket even if to drive at great speed in a serious pothole.

"Seven", besides, are completed with several airbags of safety both for passengers of lobbies, and for passengers of back seats. Moreover, the new Head Protection System system which is an inflatable umbrella which is developed on diagonal from a windshield rack to a roof over a back door provides protection of the heads of the passengers sitting ahead. Safety of those who accommodated behind is provided by the airbags which are built in doors. Also it is equipped with the locks blocking doors from opening by children, the Dynamic Stability Control system and the built-in sensors which automatically open doors and include emergency fires and fires in salon in case of serious accident.
