7.1.4. Replacement of candles and coils of ignitionThe description of replacement of spark plugs is provided in the Section Replacement of Spark Plugs of the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car. Below replacement of coils of ignition is described. M52 and M52TU engines

- Remove the protection cover of coils of ignition.
|
|
- In execution option with separate coils of ignition separate their sockets.
|
|
|
- In execution option with rod coils of ignition separate their sockets and remove the coil the movement up.
|
|
|
- In execution option with separate coils of ignition turn out bolts of their fastening and remove coils. At installation fix crossing points of connection with weight.
|
|
|
M60 and M62 engines
|
|
- Remove a decorative cover of the engine.
|
|
- Remove caps on casings of coils of ignition, turn out nuts and remove casings.
|
|
|
At installation check a condition of laying of a casing and if necessary replace it. |
|
|
- Separate sockets of coils of ignition.
|
|
|
- Give fixture of coils of ignition and remove them.
|
- At installation fix crossing points of connection with weight on coils of cylinders No. 3 and No. 6.
|
|
M73 engine
|
|
|
|
- Separate ignition coil sockets.
|
|
|
- Give nuts and remove the ignition coil.
|
|
