7.2.4. Removal and installation of the generator

|
During the works with contours of oil, fuel and OZh it is necessary to protect the generator from pollution. |
M51 engine
|
|
- Disconnect a hose of supply of the cooling air from the generator.
|
|
- Separate the socket (1) on the generator.
|
|
|
- Turn out the lower bolt of fastening of the generator and bolts of fastening of the GUR tank to a forward longeron.
|
|
|
- Turn out the top bolt of fastening of the generator.
|
|
|
- Separate the socket of an electrical wiring (1) and remove a protective cap (2).
|
|
|
- Give a nut, remove a wire of a chain of a charge and a wire to a conclusion of plus of the rechargeable battery.
|
- Remove the generator.
- Installation is made upside-down, observe efforts of tightening of fixture. For installation simplification previously to a vypressuyta from a forward longeron of the plug.
|
|
M52, M52TU engines
|
|
- Remove the air cleaner case (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases) and the cooling system fan drive coupling (see the Head of the Cooling system of the engine, heating, ventilation and conditioning).
- If necessary devastate the GUR liquid tank, remove it together with an arm and put aside.
|
|
Do not disconnect pipelines from the tank. |
|
|
- If it is established, remove an air hose.
|
|
|
- In option of execution No. 1 remove caps of sockets, separate the socket (1), give a nut (2) and remove a positive wire of the rechargeable battery.
|
|
|
- In option of execution No. 2 separate the socket (1), give a nut (2) and remove a positive wire of the rechargeable battery.
|
|
|
- In execution option without bypass roller serially turn out bolts of fastening of the generator, holding at the same time it. Remove the generator.
|
|
|
- In execution option with a bypass roller uncover with it, turn out a bolt and shoot a video (1). Turn out a bolt and remove the generator (2).
|
- Installation is made upside-down. In execution option with a bypass roller its clamp has to enter a generator groove.
|
|
M57 engine
|
|
|
|
- Turn out bolts (1) and remove an air duct (2). Unclench clips (3), remove a broad tank the movement up and put aside.
|
|
|
- Separate the socket (1) generator, remove a protective cap (2) of a positive wire of the rechargeable battery, give a nut (3) and remove a positive wire of the battery.
|
|
|
- Turn out a bolt (1) and shoot a video (2).
|
|
|
- Turn out bolts (1) on the generator, remove an arm (2) and take out the generator the movement up.
|
|
|
- If necessary turn out bolts (1) and remove a basic arm (2) generators.
|
|
|
M60, M62 engines
The generator with air cooling:
|
|
|
|
- To turn out bolts of fastening of the case of an oil filter and take him aside.
|
- Disconnect an electrical wiring from the generator, having given fixing nuts and having separated sockets.
|
|
- Release a guide of a stream of the cooling air from clips.
|
|
|
- Turn out bolts (1-3), push the generator forward and remove it the movement up.
|
|
|
Do not allow damage of plates of a radiator of the cooling system. |
- Installation is made upside-down. If necessary replace a generator pulley.
|
|
The generator with liquid cooling
|
|
- Remove a krylchatka of the fan together with the fan drive coupling from the water pump (see the Head of the Cooling system of the engine, heating, ventilation and conditioning). Lower cooling liquid (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car).
|
|
- Turn out bolts (1) on the generator.
|
|
|
- Turn out a bolt (1), remove a wire (2) of the rechargeable battery, separate the socket (3), turn out a bolt (4), to shoot a video and to put aside. Turn out the remained three bolts (5) of fastening of the generator.
|
- Push the generator forward.
|
|
At dismantle of the generator the remains of cooling liquid follow. For dismantle simplification if necessary to disconnect the top hose of cooling liquid. |
- Installation is made upside-down. To replace a sealing ring of the generator. Upon termination of works fill and pump over the cooling system (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car).

M67 engine
|
|
|
|
- Weaken a collar (1) on the left pressure head pipe (2) and disconnect it.
|
|
|
- Weaken a collar (1) and remove a pressure head pipe (2).
|
|
|
- Uncover a bolt (1) of a roller, turn out a bolt, take a natyazhitel aside and shoot bypass a video (2).
|
|
|
- Give a nut (1) and remove a positive wire (2) of the rechargeable battery. Separate the socket (3) generators.
|
|
|
- Turn out bolts on the generator.
|
|
|
Turn out the lowermost bolt (1) at first half then put a plate of fastening (2) aside, extend the generator (3) a little and let's flow down cooling liquid. Only after that turn out the lower bolt finally. Remove the generator. |
- Installation is made upside-down. Replace laying of the generator.
|
|
M73 engine
|
|
- Remove assembly of the left air cleaner (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
|
|
- Weaken a radiator branch pipe collar.
|
|
|
- Weaken a collar and remove a hose of the cooling air.
|
- Give bolts of fastening of the generator (see an illustration) and push it forward.
- Disconnect an electrical wiring from the generator, having given fixing nuts and having separated sockets.
- Remove the generator the movement up, trying not to damage a cooling system radiator.
- Installation is made upside-down. If necessary replace a generator pulley.
