8.1.2. Removal and RKPP installation

The description for RKPP S5D 310Z is given below.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the rechargeable battery.
  2. Remove assembly of system of release OG and its thermofilters (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
  3. Disconnect an electrical wiring a lambda probes from a cross-piece of a stretcher and from RKPP.
  1. Separate the socket of an electrical wiring of D/V of lamps of a backing. Disconnect an electrical wiring from a cross-piece of a stretcher and from RKPP.
  1. On the M62 engine remove the CKP sensor (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
  1. Disconnect the driveshaft from RKPP and hang out it. Prop up RKPP a jack. Turn out bolts and remove a frame cross-piece.
  1. On models with M51, M52, M60 and M62 engines lay between the pallet of a case of the engine and a beam of the forward bridge whetstone (adaptation No. 23 3 030, – for M60 and M62 engines, or No. 11 7 360, – for M51 and M52 engines). On models with M60 and M62 engines turn forward wheels to the left against the stop and lower the transmission.
  1. Remove a clamp (4), take out draft of the drive of gear shifting from the hinge and remove washers (5).

At installation grease draft of the drive of gear shifting.

  1. The screw-driver lift a lock bracket up. Take out an axial finger of a lock bracket and remove a gear shifting lever support core.

At installation grease fingers.

  1. Remove the executive cylinder of a hydraulic actuator of coupling, without disconnecting the pressure head pipeline.

Depression in the executive cylinder should be dumped gradually that through a sealing cuff in the cylinder air was not soaked up.

  1. Prop up RKPP a jack, turn out bolts of its fastening, allocate for RKPP back and remove the movement down.

At removal and the RKPP installation should not hang on entrance to a shaft, otherwise the conducted clutch plate can be deformed. At installation roll fastening bolts only together with washers!

  1. Installation is made upside-down. To pay attention to the aligning plugs: if necessary take out them from a case of RKPP and insert into the block of cylinders. Replace the damaged aligning plugs. Remove the coupling and a fork of switching off of coupling, clear them and grease in appropriate places. If lubricant on entrance to RKPP shaft sticky to replace the conducted clutch plate.
  2. Having taken an opportunity, check the conducted clutch plate for lack of a rust in vents and if necessary replace a disk. By means of rags remove the old lubricant and dust formed at attrition of a frictional slip from shliyets of the conducted clutch plate. After that a brush evenly apply lubricant for shlitsevy connections with a thin layer on all surface of shliyets, on shlitsevy a groove and a neck.
  3. After installation pump over a coupling hydraulic actuator, modify the level of transmission liquid and make sure of lack of its leaks.
