2.4. Devices of ensuring comfort

Multipurpose display

The multipurpose display plays a role of the main control unit and informing on a condition of the following systems of the car:

• audio system,
• digital watch,
• traveling computer
• the mobile phone (at the corresponding complete set).

Multipurpose display

Maintenance instructions of the multipurpose display at control of the audio system and mobile phone in view of variety of their models see in the Management attached to the concrete equipment. The description of use of the multipurpose display at control of the digital watch and the traveling computer is given below.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For control of the digital watch and the traveling computer it is possible to use a key on the left understeering switch For definition of the sequence in which functions when pressing a key will be caused press it and hold before emergence on the display of the Prog 1 indicator. Then press command keys the multipurpose display (see an illustration the Multipurpose display) in the required sequence – the turn of the programme is replaced on the display every time when saving information. In conclusion press the SET key. To display all data on the display, press serially a key on the understeering switch (before emergence of the Prog 1 indicator) and the SET key. For display of separate data press a key on the understeering switch quickly.

Digital watch

Since position "1" of the lock of ignition there is possible use of the following functions:

• Display of date and time;
• Programming of an hourly reminder;
• Management of independent system of ventilation.

Display and installation of date and time

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Press the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch. If the key in the lock of ignition is in situation "0" or is taken from the ignition lock, the indication of time will join for 8 seconds, and the loan will be switched off. If the key in the lock of ignition is in situation since "1", the indication of time will join in the constant mode. To display date, at display of time press the DATE key. To return back to the indication of time press the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch. For switching between 12-and the 24-hour mode of display of time press the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch, and then the 12H/24H key. At the choice of the 12-hour mode to the right of the indication of time the AM indicator (in the forenoon) or PM appears (in the afternoon). For installation of time press the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch, and then the SET key (points on the display will begin to blink). Determine the current time by means of the keys "-HRS" (hours) and "-MIN " (minutes) and confirm input, having pressed the SET key. For installation of date press the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch, and then the DATE key (points and the DATE indicator on the display will begin to blink). Determine the current date by means of the keys "-DAY" (day), "-MONTH" (month) and "-YEAR" (year) and confirm input, having pressed the SET key. Leap years are programmed in hours therefore correction of date is not required. For installation of date and time after shutdown of the rechargeable battery press the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch (points on the display will begin to blink) then enter the current time by means of the keys "-HRS" (hours) and "-MIN" (minutes), then enter the current date by means of the keys "-DAY" (day), "-MONTH" (month) and "-YEAR" (year) and confirm input, having pressed the SET key.

Programming of an hourly signal

Press the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch. For inclusion/switching off press the MEMO ON/OFF key. At an active signal on the display the corresponding indicator appears (see an illustration the Multipurpose display). The sound signal is distributed in 15 seconds before each full hour.

Management of independent system of ventilation

There is a possibility of preliminary installation of two different timepoints of activation of independent system of ventilation

The system of independent ventilation at the preset time of activation will work only at an external temperature more than 16 °C, or at inclusion manually; the system does not join at the moving car and is switched off automatically in 30 minutes.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To enter the first/second time of activation, install the ignition key in situation "1" and bring the indication of time to the display. Press consistently the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch, the relevant party of the 1 TIMER 2 key and the SET key. On the display the TIMER 1 or TIMER 2 indicator will begin to blink . Determine the required time by means of the keys "-HRS" (hours) and "-MIN" (minutes) and confirm input, having pressed the SET key. After installation of time behind the indication of time there will be a sign "*", and in the right part of the BC button the light-emitting diode will light up, indicating activity of system. To change activation time, repeat the procedure described above at first. For a call of the preset time of activation press the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch, and then the relevant party of the 1 TIMER 2 key. Management of system is directly available at position "1" of the lock of ignition – press the button of the choice of functions of the digital watch, and then the AIR ON or AIR OFF key.

Traveling computer

The traveling computer works in provisions "1" and "2" of the lock of ignition and is intended for display of information about:

• Average fuel consumption;
• Settlement run at the current reserve of fuel;
• Average speed;
• The remained distance to the destination;
• The remained time before arrival in the destination;
• Excess of the specified speed limit.

For safety of traffic it is necessary to enter data in the traveling computer at the motionless car. Calculations begin to be made during a start of motion.

For the choice of one of functions of the computer press the button of the choice of functions of the traveling computer (see an illustration the Multipurpose display), – at the further description of access to functions this action is not mentioned.

Average fuel consumption

Calculation of average fuel consumption at the same time for two different distances is possible (for example, for a full trip and for its certain site).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For activation of calculation for distance 1 or 2 press the respective region of the 1 CONSUM 2 key and confirm input with the SET key. Calculation begins at a start of motion. For a conclusion to the display of data on fuel consumption press the respective region of the 1 CONSUM 2 key at the moment.

Settlement run at the current reserve of fuel

Calculation is conducted on the basis of data on average fuel consumption for the last 30 km of a run. For a conclusion to the display of data on a settlement run at the current reserve of fuel press the RANGE key. If fuel is enough less than for 50 km of a run, data are output to the text display in a combination of devices, warning about need of gas station.

Average speed

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For activation of calculation for average speed press the SPEED key and confirm input with the SET key. Calculation begins at a start of motion. For a conclusion to the display of data on the average speed of the movement press the SPEED key. Calculation is deactivated at switching off of the engine.

The remained distance and time before arrival in the destination

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For use of these functions before a trip it is necessary to enter full distance to the destination. Press serially the DIST and SET keys – on the display the indication of distance will begin to blink. Enter distance to the destination by means of keys from "0" to "9" and confirm input with the SET key. For removal of the last figure press the CLR key. To cause the indication of the remained distance, press the DIST key; and to cause the remained time – the ARR key. If the distance of a trip exceeds in advance entered, then by a call of the remained distance it will be displayed with the sign "-".

Signal of excess of the specified speed limit

Excess of the set limit of speed is followed by a sound signal and the message of "LIMIT" on the text display in a combination of devices. The repeated prevention can be issued only after the speed of the car decreases by 5 km/h of rather set.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To set threshold value of speed press serially the LIMIT and SET keys – on the display the indication of speed will begin to blink. Enter value of speed by means of keys from "0" to "9" and confirm input with the SET key. In confirmation of activation of a signal in the right part of the display the LIMIT indicator appears. For removal of the last figure press the CLR key. To set threshold value of speed at the level of the current speed of the movement press serially the LIMIT keys and twice – "SET". For cancellation of a signal of speeding press the LIMIT key twice. The LIMIT indicator in the right part of the display dies away, however value of threshold speed remains in memory of the computer and can be caused repeatedly.

Installation of a code

For prevention of unauthorized start of the engine and causing damage to the car there is a possibility of input of a code in the traveling computer. At the same time the necessary code will not be entered yet, the engine will not be started.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For a task of a code install a key in the ignition lock in situation "1" and press the CODE key – on the display the message "CODE - - - -" will appear. Enter a code by means of keys from "0" to "9" and confirm input with the SET key. Turn a key in situation "0" or take it from the ignition lock. If now to press any button on the traveling computer, or to include ignition, the entered code will be erased. Therefore the code follows enters every time at statement of the car on protection. If during introduction of a code the mistake was made, for removal of the last figure of a code press the CLR key. To cancel a code and to start the engine, install a key in the ignition lock in situation "1" or "2" – a sound signal and the message "to CODE - - - -" on the display will indicate the need of input of a code. Enter a code and press the SET key. If the code is not entered or if the wrong code is entered, the engine will not be started. At introduction of the correct code on the display the current time appears. If three times in a row the wrong code is entered, for 30 seconds the anticreeping alarm system turns on.
