Arrangement of instrumentations
Speedometer and tachometer
The speedometer shows the speed of the movement of the car in km/h; the tachometer shows the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine in thousands of rpm and is intended for control over engine turns – the arrow should not enter a red zone of a scale.

Earlier switching to the raising transfer allows to save fuel and to reduce noise of the power unit. In the period of a running in of the car it is necessary to avoid too high turns of a bent shaft. At achievement of critical turns of a bent shaft the control system automatically interrupts fuel supply that is followed by sudden loss of power. |
Index of fuel consumption The index of fuel consumption is intended for visual representation of fuel consumption (l / 100 to km), allowing to draw conclusions about profitability of style of driving. At the motionless car of the shooter of the index is on zero. The index of a reserve of fuel and To/L use of a reserve of fuel
The index of a reserve of fuel serves for visual monitoring of a reserve of the fuel remaining in a tank. The error of indications of the index of a reserve of fuel is minimum when the car holds strictly horizontal position, and increases at movement of the car along twisting or hilly roads. The index works at the included ignition. At entry of the index into a zone of a reserve reserve of fuel joins corresponding To/L. At the same time follows at the first opportunity to make refueling of the car. To/L also joins at inclusion of ignition and through short time has to go out, pointing out serviceability of the index of a reserve of fuel. If To/L it is not switched off, in a tank there was a reserve volume of fuel. The nullified counter of a run and the odometer
The nullified counter of a run allows to control a car run, since the moment of dumping of its indications (for example, for the current trip). To nullify the counter, at the lock of ignition which is in situation "1" or "2" press the dumping button (An arrangement of instrumentations).
The odometer is intended for the indication of a full run of the car. The index of temperature outside of the car This index works already at turn of a key in the ignition lock in situation "1". If in this position of the ignition key to press the dumping button (An arrangement of instrumentations) and, holding it, to turn the ignition key in situation "0", there is a switching of units of measure of temperature. At decrease in temperature approximately to 3 °C, for the purpose of the warning of a possibility of ice of the indication of the thermometer begin to blink, and the sound signal is distributed. The prevention repeats until temperature increases to 6 °C. Index of temperature of OZh and KL of an overheat of the engine It is intended for visual representation of temperature of OZh for the purpose of prevention of damage of the engine. To/L an engine overheat, built in the index, lights up at inclusion of ignition and through short time has to go out, pointing out serviceability of the index. If the arrow of the index is in a blue zone, i.e. the engine is not heated-up, avoid the movement at a high speed and high turns of the engine. At entry of an arrow of the index into a red zone of a scale lights up To/L an overheat of the engine and/or on the text display in a combination of devices the message of "COOLANT TEMPERATURE" is displayed. It indicates an engine overheat – switch off the engine and let's it cool down. Check the OZh level and tightness of the cooling system (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car). Eliminate the found malfunctions. Normal range of working temperatures of the engine is the area between blue and red zones on the dial of the index of temperature of OZh. The text display in a combination of devices The display in a combination of devices is intended for display in text form of various preventions and messages on malfunctions. The display works at the included ignition. On degree of priority of the message on malfunctions are subdivided into two groups. First group of priority Information on these malfunctions is followed by a sound signal and a blinking of alarm symbols in the form of triangles at the edges of the display. With several malfunctions of the message and them are removed serially. Messages do not disappear before elimination of defects and cannot be erased by pressing of the button of automatic diagnostics (An arrangement of instrumentations). The list of messages of the first group of priority below (is given at the chosen English).
- "RELEASE PARKING BRAKE" (Release the parking brake);
- "COOLANT TEMPERATURE" (The engine is overheated, stop the engine and eliminate malfunctions);
- "STOP! ENGINE OILPRESS" (Low pressure of motive oil, stop the engine and eliminate malfunctions);
- "CHECK BRAKE FLUID" (Low level of brake fluid, add liquid and if necessary eliminate malfunctions);
- "FLAT TIRE" * or "TIRE DEFECT" * (The wheel is lowered, reduce speed and stop the car);
- "LEVEL CONTROL INACTIVE" * (The system of adjustment of a road gleam is faulty);
- "SPEED LIMIT" * (Speed is higher preset in the traveling computer).
Second group of priority Preventions of this group appear approximately for 20 seconds at the included ignition. After the inscription goes out, there are alarm symbols at the edges of the display. For a repeated call of messages press the self-diagnostics button. The list of messages of the first group of priority below (is given at the chosen English).
- "TRUNK LID OPEN" (The luggage carrier is open, the message appears only at the first start-off from the place with an open luggage carrier);
- "DOOR OPEN" (One of doors is open, the message appears as soon as the speed of the movement exceeds some insignificant size);
- "FASTEN SEAT BELTS" * (Fasten seat belts, at the same time burns corresponding To/L);
- "WASHER FLUID LOW" (Low level of the washing liquid);
- "CHECK ENGINE OIL" (Low level of motive oil);
- "OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE -5 °C" (The message appears at air temperature outside of the car below 3 °C, warning about a possibility of ice);
- "TIRE PRESSURE SET" * (Installation of pressure of a rating of tires, see the Section Governing bodies and the equipment of salon);
- "CHECK TIRE PRESSURE" * (Check pressure of a rating of tires);
- "TIRE CHECK INACTIVE" * (Malfunction in the RDC system, see the Section Governing bodies and the equipment of salon);
- "BREAK LAMP CIRCUIT" (Malfunction in a chain of stoplights, or fused a stoplight lamp);
- "CHECK LOWBEAMS" (Malfunction in a chain of passing beam of headlights);
- "CHECK SIDE LAMPS" (Malfunction in a chain of marker lights);
- "CHECK REAR LAMPS" (Malfunction in a chain of back lamps);
- "CHECK FRONT FOGLAMP" (Malfunction in a chain of fog lights);
- "CHECK LICPLATE LAMP" (Malfunction in a chain of illumination of registration plate);
- "CHECK TRAILER LIGHTS" (Malfunction in a chain of lighting of the trailer);
- "CHECK HIGHBEAMS" (Malfunction in a chain of driving beam of headlights);
- "CHECK BACKUP LIGHTS" (Malfunction in a chain of lamps of a backing);
- "TRANS. FAILSAFE PROG" (Emergency program of control of the transmission);
- "CHECK BRAKE LININGS" (Check brake shoes, see the Head the Brake system)
- "CHECK COOLANT LEVEL" (Low level of cooling liquid, add liquid and if necessary eliminate malfunctions);
- "ENGINE FAILSAFE PROG" (ECM works in the emergency program).
Messages upon termination of a trip All messages on malfunctions which appeared during a trip are highlighted one behind another on the display after turn of the ignition key in situation "0". When opening a door of the driver upon completion of a trip one of the following instructions accompanied with a sound signal can be also highlighted:
- "LIGHTS ON" (Lighting is not switched off);
- "KEY IN IGNITION LOCK" (The key is not taken from the ignition lock);
- "CHECK ENGINE OIL LEV" (Check the level of motive oil during the following filling).
Having used diagnostics button, it is possible to cause messages within about three minutes after the termination of a trip even if the key is already taken out from the ignition lock, and indication went out. If it is several messages, press diagnostics button several times. Check of serviceability of system of self-diagnostics If after turn of the ignition key in situation "2" to press diagnostics button, on the display confirmation on serviceability of system ("CHECK CONTROL OK") has to appear. Control lamps and indicators Below also the indicators located in a combination of devices are described To/L. Are marked with the sign "*" To/L and indicators which light up at inclusion of ignition for some time for check of working capacity and die away in several seconds. If any To/L when checking does not join, it can mean that it fused, or in its chain there is a break. To/L red color * At inclusion of data To/L it is necessary to stop the car at the first opportunity and to eliminate malfunctions.
— To/L system of a charge, its inclusion in time of the movement indicates malfunction in a charge chain (break of an electrical wiring, malfunction of the generator, break or weakening of a tension of a belt of the drive of the generator). Also points out need of applying of great efforts for turn of a steering wheel defect of a belt of the drive of the generator. The movement at malfunction of the drive of the generator since it can lead to an engine overheat is not allowed.
— To/L the low pressure of motive oil, its inclusion at the working engine specifies the low pressure of motive oil and is followed by the corresponding message on the text display. Check and if necessary modify the level of motive oil (see the Section Access, protection). If level is in norm limits, address on HUNDRED for diagnostics and repair of the engine. Continuation of the movement with the switched-on engine is not admissible since it will bring to its breakage because of a lack of lubricant.
BRAKE or KL of low level of brake fluid or wear of brake shoes, is followed by the corresponding message on the text display. To/L and indicators of red color

PARK BRAKE or the Indicator of the cocked parking brake, is included at the cocked parking brake.
* To/L not fastened seat belts (see the Section Seat belts), is established not on all models.

Data To/L and indicators indicate the need checks of the corresponding system of the car as soon as possible. |
BRAKE or KL of the DBC system (dynamic management of brakes), its inclusion points to malfunction in the DBC system. At the same time the brake system continues to work regularly.
ABS or KL of the ABS system, its inclusion points to shutdown of system because of its malfunction. At the same time the brake system continues to work regularly.
To/L the ASC T/DSC systems if given To/L it is not switched off after start of the engine or lights up during the movement, the system is faulty or switched off forcibly (see the Section Governing bodies and the equipment of salon). The blinking To/L indicates activity of system.
SERVICE ENGINE SOON or To/L the OBD systems, inclusion given To/L points to malfunction in a power supply system. Though the car remains in working order, it is necessary to make diagnostics and/or repair of a control system of the engine as soon as possible. To/L and indicators of yellow and blue color
Indicators of inclusion of indexes of turns, blink at inclusion of the corresponding indexes of turn. The speeded-up blinking testifies to malfunction in a chain of indexes of turns.
The indicator of activation of a tempostat, indicates a possibility of use of functions of a tempostat (see the Part of the Device of ensuring comfort).
The indicator of the included fog lights.
The indicator of the turned-on driving beam of headlights, lights up at inclusion of driving beam of headlights, or at the alarm system driving beam of headlights.
