8.2.2. Removal and installation of coupling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove RKPP (see the Section Removal and the RKPP installation).
  1. Block a flywheel from a provorachivaniye by means of special adaptation No. 11 2 070 (for M60, M62 and M73 engines) or No. 11 2 170 (for other engines).
  1. Turn out in a cross order on 1 turn bolts before removal of effort from a press spring of coupling. Remove a basket of coupling and the conducted disk.
  1. Clear a flywheel and press a clutch plate of pollution and check them for wear and absence of damage. If necessary replace a flywheel or press a clutch plate.
  2. Check ease of the course and lack of beats of the forward bearing of an entrance shaft of RKPP and if necessary to replace the bearing.
  3. To check bolts of fastening of a flywheel for lack of leakages of oil. If necessary replace bolts.
  4. To check the conducted clutch plate for absence of damage and rusts on vents, if necessary to replace the conducted disk.

The conducted disks polluted by alien substances (oil, cleaner, etc.) are subject to obligatory replacement.

  1. To check the conducted clutch plate for wear. For this purpose measure a ledge of a frictional overlay on rivets for its fastening, every time on the closing head (A). The conducted clutch plate should be replaced if a slip ledge on the closing head less than 1 mm. Establish the conducted clutch plate on previously cleared entrance shaft of RKPP and be convinced that the disk easily moves on a shaft.
  1. Installation is made upside-down. The conducted clutch plate demands the careful address: do not concern surfaces of frictional slips, establish the conducted disk correctly, according to tags of "Motorseite" (the party of the engine) and "Getriebeseite" (the party of RKPP). Center the conducted clutch plate by means of adaptation No. 21 2 130 (for 5-staged RKPP) or No. 21 2 120 (for 5-staged RKPP).
  2. At installation of a basket of coupling roll bolts manually and tighten them in a cross order every time on 1 turn with the required effort.
