Governing bodies and equipment of salon

The description of a combination of devices is provided in the Section Combination of Devices, – and also the traveling computer with the multipurpose display and the control unit of the HVAC system – they are described regarding the Device of ensuring comfort. Some governing bodies are considered.

The switches and governing bodies located on a steering column

Left understeering switch

Do not leave devices of external lighting included at the switched-off engine not to discharge the rechargeable battery.

The left understeering switch (2) is intended for management of indexes of turns, switching between near and far light of headlights, to the alarm system of driving beam of headlights, inclusions of parking fires, and also for control of the traveling computer.

The description of control of the traveling computer is provided in the Section of the Device of ensuring comfort.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For inclusion of driving beam of headlights (passing beam has to be for this purpose turned on) move the lever of the left understeering switch from yourself. Inclusion of driving beam of headlights is followed by inclusion corresponding To/L in a combination of devices (see the Section Combination of Devices). For switching back in the mode of passing beam return the lever to a starting position (pull it on yourself). For the alarm system driving beam of headlights pull the switch lever on yourself. In this situation driving beam will be turned on irrespective of the provision of a key or the switch of ignition, and will work until the switch is released. For inclusion of the index of the left or right turn at the included ignition pull the lever of the understeering switch respectively down or up. At the same time in a combination of devices the indicator of inclusion of the index of the corresponding turn lights up in the flashing mode. After completion of turn the switch automatically comes back to neutral situation. At evolution it is possible to use indexes of evolution for which inclusion it is necessary to pull slightly the switch up or down, without leading up against the stop and to hold it in this situation. After an otpuskaniye the switch will automatically come back to neutral situation. For inclusion of parking fires at one of car boards at the lock of ignition put in situation "0" pull the lever of the understeering switch respectively down or up. There is a possibility of use of passing beam of headlights some time after an exit from the parked car. For this purpose after switching off of the engine quickly pull the switch lever on yourself.

Right understeering switch

In order to avoid damage of the mechanism of screen wipers it is not necessary to include them if the purified glass dry, and also to move them with hands. In a frost before inclusion of screen wipers, the first for a trip, it is necessary to check whether brushes froze. In order to avoid damage of brushes of screen wipers do not allow their contact with gasoline and other solvents. In order to avoid damage of the pump of windscreen washer do not use it at the empty tank of the washing liquid, and also it is continuous during more than 30 pages.

Levers of screenwashes are partially located under a cowl. To bring them into vertical position (for example, for replacement of brushes), switch off ignition at the working screen wipers at the right time.

Do not leave included in the rain sensor during a wash of the car.

The right understeering switch is intended for management of screen wipers and washing of glasses. Screen wipers and washing of glasses work only at the included ignition.

Provisions of the right understeering switch

On models without rain sensor at the screen wipers included at a normal/high speed at the motionless car they work respectively in the interval mode / at normal speed.

At a car complete set washers of headlights they automatically join at every fifth inclusion of washing of a windshield.

Switch э / drive of a steering column

There is an opportunity to bring in memory up to three versions of provisions of a seat, external rear-view mirrors and a steering column – see the Section Adjustment of Seats and Head Restraints.

The steering column should be adjusted so that the steering wheel was opposite to a thorax of the driver. Situation at which the steering wheel is opposite to a face of the driver is wrong as reduces protective functions of a forward safety cushion of the driver.

It is not necessary to regulate the provision of a steering column during driving since at the same time control over driving can be lost.

For change of height and a tilt angle of a steering column press the switch in the corresponding direction.

For simplification of landing and disembarkation from the car the provision of a steering wheel automatically changes as appropriate. This function works at a basis of data on the provision of a key in the lock of ignition and the provision of a door of the driver.

Switch of ignition and blocking of a steering wheel

The switch (lock) of ignition is located on the right on a steering column, and has the following 4 provisions:

0 — This situation is used for blocking of a steering wheel and extraction of a key from the ignition lock. For blocking of a steering wheel take a key from the lock of ignition and turn a steering wheel a little. On models the lock cannot be transferred from AT in given situation, the P mode will not be chosen yet; besides, in situation "0" or when the key is taken from the ignition lock, the lever of the selector of the AT modes is blocked in situation "P". It is possible to bring the lever out of this situation, having turned a key in situation "2".

1 — In this situation the steering wheel is unblocked, ignition is switched off, included food of auxiliary consumers of the electric power of the car.

2 — In this situation ignition and all consumers of the electric power of the car is included. This also normal situation after start of the engine. Before start of the engine at turn of a key in this situation it is necessary to check short-term operation of the control lamps which are built in a combination of devices (see the Section Combination of Devices).

3 — It is used for start of the engine. When keeping the ignition key in this situation the starter will scroll the engine. In operating time of a starter some electric components are disconnected, facilitating start of the engine. After an otpuskaniye the key comes back to situation "3".

Multipurpose steering wheel

The description of management tempostaty, is provided by phone and the audio system in the Part of the Device of ensuring comfort.

Installation of one of two types of a multipurpose steering wheel is possible.

Multipurpose steering wheel, type 1

1 — Reception of an incoming call, the beginning of set of number and the termination of a call (by short-term pressing), or inclusion and switching off of voice-activated control (at deduction of the switch) 2 — Radio and phone: choice 3-5 — Radio and phone: search of the station in a return/direct order or movement in the telephone directory; rewind back/forward in the CD mode and the cassette player

4 — Radio/phone: volume control 6 — the horn Switch 7-9 — Buttons of management tempostaty (see the Section Tempostat) 10 — the Mode of air circulation or heating of a steering wheel

Multipurpose steering wheel, type 2

Heating of a steering wheel works only at the included ignition. At inclusion of heating the indicator which is built in the switch turns on.

The button of inclusion of a horn is built in an overlay of a steering wheel, press it without considerable efforts since the switch of a horn is combined with the block of a forward safety cushion of the driver.

The governing bodies located in the doorway

There is an opportunity to bring in memory up to three versions of provisions of a seat, external rear-view mirrors and a steering column – see the Section Adjustment of Seats and Head Restraints.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Switches of management of window regulators (see the Section of the Window of doors) and external rear-view mirrors are in the doorway located. 1 — Adjustment of situation 2 — the Choice of a mirror for adjustment   The provision of external rear-view mirrors can be adjusted as by means of the switch, and manually, – having pressed on the respective region of a mirror. For adjustment of one of mirrors move the switch (2) to the relevant provision, and then by means of the switch (1) adjust the provision of a mirror. Heating of mirrors joins automatically at inclusion of ignition. If the switch (2) is in the provision of adjustment of a mirror from the driver, then at inclusion of transfer of a backing the mirror from the forward passenger will automatically bend down, providing the best review at the parking. In a forward part of back doors ashtrays are located For opening of an ashtray press deepening on its cover. To clear an ashtray extend it.

The governing bodies located about a combination of devices

In situation "0" external lighting is switched off. If the switch of ignition is in situation "0", then when opening a door of the driver at the included external lighting on the text display in a combination of devices the corresponding message is displayed. At inclusion of passing beam of headlights illumination of internal handles of doors joins. At a car complete set the DRL system (running fires during daylight hours) headlights join automatically at inclusion of ignition.

The regulator of intensity of illumination of devices is located under the switch of external lighting and intended for installation of brightness of the illumination of devices convenient for the driver.

The switch of fog lights is located to the right of a combination of devices.

At inclusion of fog lights joins corresponding To/L in a combination of devices. Driving beam of headlights at the same time is cut off.

The RDC system switch (control of pressure of a rating of tires), at the corresponding complete set, is located under the switch of fog lights.

The RDC system is intended for the warning of the driver of pressure decrease of a rating of tires by means of the messages displayed on the text display in a combination of devices.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For activation of system include ignition and hold the switch "SET TIRE PRESSURE" ("Installation of pressure of a rating of tires") pressed before emergence of the message. After several minutes of the movement of the car the RDC system will determine the basic size of pressure of a rating of tires. At pressure decrease the message of "CHECK TIRE PRESSURE" is given ("Check pressure of a rating of tires"). At a puncture of the tire the message of "TIRE DEFECT" ("The tire is faulty") which is followed by a sound signal is given – replace a wheel. The spare wheel is supplied necessary for work of the RDC system as electronics therefore after replacement of a wheel the system will continue to work. At malfunction of the RDC system the message of "TIRE CONTROL INACTIVE" is given ("Control of pressure of a rating of tires is not active").

Governing bodies and the equipment of salon on the central console

The description of systems of ventilation, heating and To/in, audio systems and systems of navigation, and also the traveling computer with the multipurpose display is provided in the Part of the Device of ensuring comfort; governing bodies of transmission are described the Section Use of the Automatic Transmission (AT).

The description of the switch of the uniform lock (6 on an illustration Governing bodies and the equipment of salon) is provided in the Section Access, protection.

The switch of the alarm system (7 Governing bodies and the equipment of salon) works at an illustration in any position of the lock of ignition. For turning on of the alarm system press the switch button; for switching off – press the button once again. At the switched-on alarm system synchronously with all indexes of turns their indicators in a combination of devices blink. The switch of the alarm system is highlighted at the included external lighting.

On models with heating of front seats the corresponding switches are located in the central console.

Consistently pressing one of switches, it is possible to choose one of three modes of heating of the corresponding seat. The mode of the minimum heating is followed by turning on of one indicator, and the mode of the maximum heating – turning on of three indicators. In each mode temperature is regulated by means of the thermostat. The mode of the maximum heating can be included, holding the switch pressed some time. Light indicators of inclusion of heating are built in switches.

The switch of system of the help at the parking (PDC, at the corresponding complete set) is intended for its compulsory inclusion and switching off. The PDC system automatically joins in a second after inclusion of transfer of a backing at the included ignition and is switched off at switching off of transfer of a backing, or at the movement with the trailer. Forcibly included system is switched off automatically if the car passed distance about 50 m, or its speed was exceeded by 30 km/h. For work of system about four ultrasonic sensors which are built in each bumper defining distance to the next object are used. Sensors in a front bumper, and also side sensors in a rear bumper, work at distance to 60 cm, and two central sensors in a rear bumper – at distance to 1.5 m. Change of distance to an object is represented for the driver change of pauses between sound signals of the PDC system – the obstacle is closer, the it is less than pause. When to an obstacle there are less than 30 cm, the sound becomes continuous. The sound signal is switched off approximately in 3 seconds if during this time the distance to an obstacle does not change (for example, at the movement along a wall). The continuous signal of high-pitch tone and a blinking of the indicator testifies to malfunction in the PDC system.

It is not necessary to rely completely on the PDC systems as the objects getting to a dead zone of sensors, are not distinguished by system and do not cause operation of the alarm system. Recognition of objects can also go beyond physically possible at ultrasonic measurements, for example, in relation to a dyshl and the traction coupling device of the trailer, and also thin objects and the varnished surfaces. For full preservation of operability of sensors of the PDC system they should be kept clean.

The switch of system of automatic stabilization of stability with the regulator of traction effort / system of dynamic stabilization of stability (ASC T/DSC) is intended for its compulsory switching off and inclusion. The listed systems increase stability of the car at accelerations and on turns and join automatically at start of the engine. In confirmation of serviceability of functioning of system at inclusion of ignition in combinations of devices quickly lights up corresponding To/L (see the Section Combination of Devices). If To/L the ASC T/DSC system it is not switched off after start of the engine or lights up during the movement, the system is faulty or switched off forcibly. The blinking To/L indicates activity of system. For shutdown of system (for example, for "rocking" of the car, a start of motion in deep snow or on the slippery road) press the ASC or DSC switch (depending on a complete set) – will light up To/L. By repeated pressing the system is switched off and To/L dies away. More detailed information on the ASC T/DSC system is provided in the Section Auxiliary systems.

The switch of system of electronic adjustment of rigidity of a suspension bracket (EDC, at the corresponding complete set) is intended for switching between its automatic and sports programs. The EDC system constantly provides necessary depreciation of a running gear, promoting bigger comfortableness of the car and traffic safety. After each launch of the engine the system is activated in the automatic mode and works in all ranges of speed of the movement of the car and at any its loading. For inclusion of the sports program at the included ignition press the EDC switch. At the same time will light up To/L near the letter "S". For switching back to automatic fine tuning press the switch again, To/L at the same time will go out. More detailed information on the EDC system is provided in the Section Auxiliary systems.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Chashkoderzhatel is from below in the central console To bring a chashkoderzhatel into position press deepening in its cover. To remove a chashkoderzhatel press him into the central console. It is not necessary to use a chashkoderzhatel during the movement of the car since the objects established in it at accident, sharp braking or acceleration can be the reason of a trauma of the driver and passengers. Especially it is not necessary to put in a chashkoderzhatel not closed containers with hot liquids at the movement of the car since at possible spraying of liquid the driver can burn and lose driving.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

The ashtray and the lighter are located in the central console between seats, under the general cover To open a cover press deepening in it. To clear an ashtray press the button (1) and extend an ashtray. The lighter (2) is installed in a nest of selection of power and works irrespective of position of the ignition key. To use the lighter, press it and release. After the lighter will heat up to necessary temperature, it will automatically return to a starting position.

Do not hold the lighter pressed after it is ready to use since it can lead to its overheat; for the same reason the lighter should be taken from its nest if it automatically long does not come back to a starting position. It is not necessary to use an ashtray for storage of any things since at contact with them of the lit cigarettes or matches there can be a fire.

The lighter and chashkoderzhatel for back passengers are in a back part of the central console.

Instead of the lighter it is possible to turn on auxiliary electric devices in a nest of selection of power (for example, the vacuum cleaner or a portable lamp) with power up to 200 W at a voltage of 12 V.

Governing bodies and the equipment of salon located on a ceiling

The description of the switch of management of a cover of the top hatch is provided in the Section the Top hatch.

Internal lighting joins and switched off automatically.

Switches on the top console

PERFORMANCE ORDER

If necessary to include or switch off internal lighting manually press the switch (1). In order that internal lighting did not join under no circumstances hold this button within 3 seconds. To return in normal press an operating mode of internal lighting the button quickly.

At inclusion of side lamps indicators, the built-in left and right edges of the switch turn on.

Lamps for reading can be switched on and off separately by means of the switch (2 and 3) close to the corresponding lamp.

The universal transceiver (at the corresponding complete set) is intended for use instead of several (to three) separate transceivers (for example, from a door of a garage or a security system). The block of the universal transceiver is located in the console on a ceiling.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For programming of the universal transceiver perform the following operations: Include ignition; Press and hold at the same time the buttons of a call of channels 1 and 3, the indicator will not begin to blink yet (at the same time memory of all channels is cleared); Bring the separate transceiver to the receiver of the universal transceiver on distance no more than 5 cm; Press at the same time the transfer button on the separate transceiver and the button of a call of the channel on the universal transceiver. Release buttons when the indicator begins to blink with the increased speed.

The internal rear-view mirror with is equipped with two sensors (behind and in front) providing automatic blackout of a mirror depending on illumination. However, at inclusion of transfer of a backing blackout is automatically disconnected.

Sun-protection peaks can be thrown back forward and sideways. From the inside of sun-protection peaks, behind a movable cover, cosmetic mirrors are built in. If the lock of ignition is in situation "1" or "2" and the cosmetic mirror is opened, its illumination joins.

Ware boxes and armrests

The main ware box рассоложен in the dashboard opposite to a seat of the forward passenger.

The box has the lock unlocked and locked only by the main key (see the Section Access, protection). When opening a ware box its illumination joins. The open cover of a ware box can be turned, having provided more convenient access from the driver. In a ware box, at the left, the recharged lamp is fixed.

You do not store the included lamp since it will lead to its recharge and failure in a ware box.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To cast away a back armrest, pull for the corresponding loop. In an armrest there is a ware box for receiving access to which it is necessary to pull for the button.

On some models the multipurpose back armrest under which cover there is a control unit of some devices of the car is established.

Multipurpose armrest of a back seat

The forward central armrest with the built-in ware box can be moved forward and back, pressing the button (1). To open a cover of a ware box press the buttons (2).

Besides the listed above ware boxes, occasional seats are available to storage of various objects:

• In the inclined part of the central console;
• In the central console between seats;
• Under each lateral face of phone (at the corresponding complete set);
• The rotating coin box on the right under an audio system cover;
• In the doorway;
• On backs of front seats.

For transportation of skis on some models the special bag, access to which opens after tilting of the central armrest of a back seat, is provided.

First-aid kit and sign of an emergency stop

The sign of an emergency stop is stored in the luggage compartment, in the holder of tools.

The first-aid kit is stored between back seats. Pull for the lever in the direction of an arrow.
