6.4.7. Removal and installation of the EVAP valve

Models with M60 and M62 engines

PERFORMANCE ORDER

On models with the M60 engine the valve of ventilation of the fuel tank is installed on a cover of GRM of cylinders No. No. 1 – 4. On models with the M60 engine weaken collars (1 and 3) and disconnect hoses. Separate the socket (2) and remove the EVAP valve from the holder. On models with the M60 engine weaken the EVAP valve it is located about an arch of the left forward wheel. Separate the socket (1), weaken a collar (2) and disconnect a fuel hose. Open a clamp (3) and disconnect a hose. At installation replace a collar and a fuel hose.

Models with the M73 engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove cases of both butterfly valves (see the Section Removal and installation of the case of a throttle, replacement of its laying). Mark and separate sockets of EVAP valves. Open quick-detachable collars of fastening of hoses of EVAP valves and disconnect hoses. Take out EVAP valves from the holder. Installation is made upside-down. Replace the bringing hoses to cases of butterfly valves together with collars.
