14.2.5. Replacement of lamps of devices of external lighting

Glow lamps should be replaced only with lamps of the same type. Before replacement of a lamp check that the corresponding light device was switched off. Do not take a glow lamp flask naked fingers, use a pure towel or cotton gloves. The fingerprints left on a lamp flask evaporate and besieged on a reflector that is especially noticeable on headlights and fog lights. Incidentally left fingerprints should be removed with the napkin impregnated with alcohol. It is not allowed to wipe the reflectors of headlights covered with a protective varnish, a dry rigid rag and also to apply any cleaners or solvents to this purpose. Use soft wet towel wipes. |

Halogen lamps are under pressure and can burst. Therefore at their replacement it is necessary to use goggles and gloves. When replacing xenon lamps there is a danger of traumatizing owing to high voltage! Surely switch off headlights and disconnect an electrical wiring from the battery. After replacement quickly switch on and off a headlight to remove residual stress. As a security measure put on boots with rubber soles. |
Headlight lamps (parking, near and far light)

- Wring out clamps down and uncover lamps.
|
- Separate the corresponding socket, remove a spring bracket and take out a lamp.
|
|
For removal of a lamp of parking light remove a cartridge and turn a lamp. |

|
Lamp of a xenon headlight
|
|
- Release a clip and uncover a lamp.
|
|
- Separate the lamp socket, remove a spring bracket and take out a lamp.
|
|
|
Halogen lamp of a fog light
Lamp of the forward index of turn
Lamps of the back combined lamp
|
|
- Remove the side panel of finishing of the luggage compartment (see the Head Kuzov).
- Turn and take out a cartridge of the corresponding lamp.
- Turn and take out a lamp from the boss.

Lamps of illumination of registration plate
|
|
|
|
- Unclench a clamp on the right side and extend a lamp of illumination of registration plate.
|
- Take out a lamp.
|
|
Lamps of illumination of external handles of doors
|
|
- Remove finishing of a door (see the Head Kuzov).
|
|
- Disconnect the central light source (1) from an arm (2), separate the socket (3) and disconnect optical fiber (4) from the central light source.
|
|
|
Radius of a bend of optical fiber should not be less than 20 mm. |
|
|
- Open a bayonetny lock of the central light source.
|
|
|
- Take out the glow lamp (1) from a reflector (2) and replace it.
