6.3.4. Removal and installation of the intercooler

If the established hoses of nadduvochny air are not fat-free also damp, it can lead to failure of the supercharger. Do not allow damage of plates of the intercooler. |
Models with the M57 engine
|

|
|
- Unclench collars (1), remove a hose (2), disconnect a hose (3) and put it aside.
|
|
|
- Wring out clamps (1 and 2) on both parties and extend the intercooler at the same time a little.
|
|
|
- Take out the intercooler (1) in the direction specified by shooters.
|
|
|
- If necessary replace an arm. For this purpose wring out the screw-driver a bracket (1) up and remove an arm (2).
|
- Installation is made upside-down.
|

Models with the M67 engine
|
|
|
|
- Weaken collars (1 and 3) and disconnect pressure head sleeves (2 and 4).
|
- Perform the operations specified in paragraphs 2 - 5.
