12.2.6. Removal and installation of the stupichny bearing

After dismantling the knot of the stupichny bearing is subject to replacement. |
|
- Remove a brake disk (without disconnecting a brake hose) and the wheel sensor of the ABS system (see the Head the Brake system).

- Take off the screw-driver a nave cap.

- Remove bearing knot by means of adaptation No. 33 2 116/33 4 201/202/203 and wheel bolts (1).

|
- If necessary remove an internal ring of the bearing from the end of a beam of a suspension bracket by means of special adaptation No. 33 4 402. For this purpose put on adaptation No. 33 4 406/401 an internal ring of the bearing and squeeze until adaptation hardly is turned.

|
- As an alternative for removal of a boot and an internal ring of the bearing it is possible to use adaptation No. 31 2 100, previously having removed the protection cover.
|
|
- Establish laying (1) on a new boot (2).
|
|
- Install the protection cover (1) and a new boot (2).
|
|
The opening in a boot has to be coaxial to an opening in a rotary fist. Screw against the stop a mandrel No. 31 2 110. |
|
- Spread new knot of the stupichny bearing and its napressuyta by means of a mandrel No. 31 2 110.
|
- Screw a new koronchaty nut, tighten it with the required effort and a zakontrita, tapping on it.

At percussion the nut has to be recorded in a flute! |
- Establish a new cap on sealant.
- Install the wheel sensor and a brake disk.
