6.2.2. Removal and installation of the case of the air cleaner

- Consider codes of malfunctions and switch off ignition.
|
|
M52 engine
|
|
|
|
- Weaken a collar (1) and wring out brackets (2). Separate the socket (3).
|
|
|
- Turn out bolts (1) and disconnect the rezonatorny camera (2) from a corrugated casing.
|
|
|
- Turn out a bolt (1) and remove the air cleaner case together with a corrugated casing.
|
|
|
- If necessary wring out brackets (3 and 4) and to disconnect the case of the air filter from an air flowmeter.
|
|
|
- Installation is made upside-down. Insert rubber-metal hinges into support. Consider codes of malfunctions and if necessary eliminate them.
|
|
|
M60 and M62 engines
|
|
|
|
- Separate the socket (1) of the MAF sensor. Weaken a collar (2) and disconnect a hose. On models with the M62 engine separate the IAT sensor socket.
|
|
|
- Wring out brackets (1) and remove an air flowmeter.
|
|
|
At installation replace laying between a flowmeter and the top part of the air filter. |
|
|
- On models with the M60 B30 engine weaken a collar and disconnect a hose.
|
|
|
- Turn out the screw and remove assembly of the case of the air cleaner.
|
- Installation is made upside-down.
|
|
M73 engine
|
|
|
|
- Wring out a clamp (2) and separate the socket (1).
|
|
|
- Wring out clamps (1) and weaken a collar (2). Separate the socket (3), weaken a collar (4) and disconnect a hose. Remove the top section of the case of the air cleaner.
|
|
|
- Turn out the screw and remove the lower section of the air cleaner.
|
- Installation is made upside-down.
|
