6.2.6. Removal and installation of the fuel distributive highway and injectorsModels with the M52 engine

- Switch off ignition.
|
- Remove caps of bolts and turn out them. Uncover injectors.
|
|
- Separate the electrical wiring socket Ý/m the VANOS valve. Wring out clamps and separate electrical wiring sockets a lambda probes. Remove and put aside an assembly level of sockets of injectors.
|
- Mark the bringing and returnable fuel-supply lines not to mix them at the subsequent installation then disconnect fuel-supply lines from the fuel distributive highway.
|
If necessary replace sealing rings or the other damaged details. |
|
- Turn out bolts and disconnect a vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator. Remove, having pulled up, the distributive highway together with injectors.
|
|
- Having removed a clamp, remove an injector.
|
- Installation is made upside-down.
|
|
Models with the M52TU engine
|
- Switch off ignition.
|
- Remove the saloon filter and open the cable channel located on the lower part (2) of its cases. Extend cables outside. Turn out bolts (1) and remove the lower part (2) cases of the saloon filter.
|
- Take out caps of bolts and turn out them. Uncover injectors (see an illustration).
|
- Disconnect a vacuum hose (1) from the fuel pressure regulator. Separate the socket of an electrical wiring of the IAT (2) sensor and remove an assembly level (3) injectors.
|
|
- Mark sockets (1) of an electrical wiring a lambda probes of groups of cylinders No. No. 1-3 and No. No. 4-6 not to mix them at the subsequent installation. Wring out clamps and separate sockets. Remove holders of sockets from the fuel distributive highway.
|
|
- Mark the bringing and returnable fuel-supply lines (2 and 3) not to mix them at the subsequent installation. Remove clamps of fuel-supply lines from the back party of a head of the block of cylinders. If necessary replace sealing rings or the other damaged details.
|
|
- Turn out bolts and remove the fuel distributive highway together with injectors.
|
- If necessary remove injectors.
- Installation is made upside-down. For simplification of installation of the distributive highway grease sealing new rings of injectors with means for sliding simplification.
|
|
Models with M60 and M62 engines
|
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove the top cover of the engine.
|
- Remove collars of fastening of wires. Unhook a gas cable from the lever of a butterfly valve.
|
- Uncover ignition coils on both sides of a head of cylinders (see an illustration).
|
- Separate sockets of coils of ignition.
|
|
- Remove a box of an electrical wiring (2) and put them aside. Separate sockets of an electrical wiring of injectors.
|
- Press the bringing and returnable fuel-supply lines and remove them. Collect the flowed-out fuel.
|
At installation use new collars of fastening of hoses. |
|
- Disconnect a vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.
|
|
- Turn out bolts of fastening of the fuel distributive highway and remove it together with injectors.
|
- If necessary unclench brackets and remove injectors.
- Installation is made upside-down. For simplification of installation of the distributive highway grease sealing new rings of injectors with means for sliding simplification.

|
Models with the M73 engine
|
- Switch off ignition.
|
- Separate engine electrical wiring sockets, lift an electrical wiring and fix it on a cowl.
|
|
At installation replace hoses and collars of their fastening. |
|
- Turn out bolts of fastening of the fuel distributive highway and remove it together with injectors.
|
- If necessary unclench brackets and remove injectors.
- Installation is made upside-down. For simplification of installation of the distributive highway grease sealing new rings of injectors with means for sliding simplification.
