6.2.8. Removal and installation of the fuel pump

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Empty the fuel tank.
  2. Remove the fuel reserve sensor in the right part of the fuel tank (see the Section Removal and installation of sensors of a reserve of fuel).
  1. Separate both sockets of an electrical wiring (1) on the fuel pump, unclench two collars (black shooters) of an electrical wiring plait, weaken a collar and accurately disconnect a spiral hose in the direction of a white arrow, without allowing damage of the union of the pump.

  1. Installation is made upside-down. Before installation straighten a connecting hose and a cable (1) between a cover (2) and the fuel pump (3) to avoid a tension.
