4.4.4. Removal and installation of the pallet of a case

The description given below is suitable also for M62 engines.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove protection of a case of the engine.
  2. Turn out a cover of an oil filter and a stopper of a drain opening in the case pallet. Lower motive oil.
  1. Separate the inclusion sensor electrical wiring socket To/L oil level.
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of the pallet of a case and remove it.
  1. Clear the interfaced surfaces of the remains of sealing materials.
  1. Installation is made upside-down. Use new laying and new bolts. For convenience of installation use pins.
