4.4.2. Removal and installation of a head of cylinders, adjustment of phases GRMRemoval
|
- Remove the corresponding final collector (see the Section Removal and installation of final collectors).
- Empty the engine cooling system (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car).
- Uncover both heads of cylinders (see the Section Petrol M60/1 and M60/2 engines).
- Turn out spark plugs (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car).
- At removal of the right head of cylinders remove the engine cooling system fan coupling (see the Section Removal and installation of the coupling of the drive of the fan of the Head of the Cooling system of the engine, heating, ventilation and conditioning).
- Remove a collector of the cooling system of the engine (see the Section Removal and installation of a collector of the cooling system of the Head of the Cooling system of the engine, heating, ventilation and conditioning).

- Remove channels of supply of oil from both heads of cylinders.
|
- Turn a bent shaft for the central bolt clockwise so that the piston of the first cylinder was in VMT of the end of a step of release. Then give half way three available bolts of fastening of asterisks of camshafts of an opposite head of cylinders.
|
- Turn a bent shaft so that the piston of the first cylinder was in VMT of the end of a step of compression.
|
- Holding the camshaft a wrench for a hexagon, weaken the remained bolts of fastening of asterisks of camshafts of an opposite head of cylinders on approximately half-turn.
- Take out a plunger of a natyazhitel of a chain and remove the corresponding top cover of GRM (see the Section Removal and installation of covers of a chain of GRM).

- On the corresponding head of cylinders remove an asterisk of the camshaft of inlet valves. Record a chain that it did not slide off.
|
|
- Turn a bent shaft counterclockwise in situation 45 ° VMT dale according to adjusting tags.
|
|
On engines without tag 45 ° the shaft should be turned until adaptation No. 11 3 440 enters selection on a CKP sensor rotor. |
|
- At removal of the left head of cylinders turn out the secret screw and, at the corresponding complete set, a bolt (1) of fastening of the angular coupling (2).
|
|
- Turn out a bolt(s) of fastening of the directing chain, and at removal of the left head of cylinders in addition PCV system oil separator bolts. At removal of the left head of cylinders take an oil separator from the angular coupling.
|
|
- Turn out bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders in the return sequence.
|
- Remove a head of cylinders, clear the surfaces interfaced to the block of cylinders of the remains of laying and sealant. At the same time try not to damage the interfaced surfaces, and also do not allow hit of dirt and oil in carving openings. If necessary clear carving openings.

|
Installation
|
- Apply on a joint of the block of cylinders with GRM cover Hylomar SQ 32 M lubricant.
|
- Make sure of integrity and correctness of installation of the aligning plugs and lay new laying on the block of cylinders.
|
|
- Establish a head of the block of cylinders and tighten bolts of its fastening with the required effort and the sequence.
|
|
At installation of the left head of cylinders the oil separator should be wrung out outside. Track correctness of connection of a maslootvodyashchy tube to an oil separator. |
- At installation of the left head of cylinders establish an oil separator in an angular arm, previously having checked a condition of a sealing ring and, if necessary, having replaced it.
- Tighten bolts of fastening of the directing GRM chain.
- At installation of the left head of cylinders tighten fixture of an oil separator and the secret screw.

The screw at this stage should be tightened to its prileganiye to the angular coupling. |
- By means of a wrench center camshafts.
- Install on camshafts of the right head of cylinders of adaptation No. No. 11 2 445/441, and on shaft of the left head – adaptation No. No. 11 2 446/442.
- In position of the piston of the first cylinder in VMT of the end of a step of compression adjusting openings of camshafts 1 and 2, and also 3 and 4 (the right number of cylinders) are above.
- Fix camshafts a wrench so that devices adjoined to a head of the block of cylinders without gaps.
- Install adaptation No. 11 2 443 on both heads of cylinders and fix it by a bolt No. 11 2 444.

- Turn a bent shaft clockwise from situation 45 ° to VMT in the provision of VMT and record a shaft in this situation by means of special adaptation No. 11 2 300 or a suitable core.
|
- Install an asterisk with a chain on the inlet camshaft of the established head of cylinders so that the arrow was directed to axes of cylinders up, and bolts of fastening were in the middle of longitudinal grooves. By hand screw bolts.
|
- At installation of the right head of cylinders install not it adaptation No. 11 2 400.
|
|
- Insert into the right cover of GRM (at installation of the left head of cylinders) or on adaptation No. 11 2 400 (at installation of the right head of cylinders) adaptation No. 11 3 390 and, turning on it the adjusting screw by means of special adaptation No. 00 9 250, tighten a level of a natyazhitel with effort of 1.3 Nanometers.

- Tighten with the required effort: all bolts of the left final camshaft, 3 bolts of the right final shaft, all bolts of the left inlet shaft and, at last, 3 bolts of the right inlet shaft.
- Remove devices No. No. 11 2 444/443/441/445/442/446, and also the device for fixing of a bent shaft.
- Turn a bent shaft on one turn and tighten 3 remained bolts of fastening of asterisks of the right camshafts.
- Install channels of supply of oil.
- Remove devices for tightening of a level of a natyazhitel.
- Install other being removed components as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle.
