11:14. Removal and installation hydromodulator of the ABS/ASC+T/DSC systems

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Switch off ignition and disconnect a negative wire from the rechargeable battery.
  2. Pump out brake fluid from the GTTs tank.

ABS hydromodulator

Brake tubes and bolt of fastening of the ABS hydromodulator
V (forward wheels) — from dvupolostny GTTs of a contour of V to the hydromodulator of a contour of V (a contour of the drive of brake mechanisms of forward wheels)
H (back wheels) — from dvupolostny GTTs of a contour of H to H contour hydromodulator (a contour of the drive of brake mechanisms of back wheels)
VR (the right forward wheel) — from the VR hydromodulator to the brake VR mechanism
VL (the left forward wheel) — from the VL hydromodulator to the brake VL mechanism
HR (the right back wheel) — from the HR hydromodulator to the brake HR mechanism
HL (the left back wheel) — from the HL hydromodulator to the brake HL mechanism
HA (the back bridge) — from the HA hydromodulator to the brake mechanism of back wheels

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Separate the central socket (1), give a nut (2) and disconnect a weight cable.

Do not allow hit of brake fluid in electrical wiring sockets.

  1. Disconnect brake tubes, turn out a bolt and remove the hydromodulator. If necessary mark tubes not to mix them at installation.
  2. Installation is made upside-down. In conclusion pump over the brake system.

V (forward wheels) — from dvupolostny GTTs of a contour of V to the hydromodulator of a contour of V (a contour of the drive of brake mechanisms of forward wheels)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Unblock a clamp of the socket (1) in the direction (2) and separate the socket, having pulled it in the direction (3) vertically up. Disconnect brake tubes, if necessary previously having marked them not to mix at installation.
  2. On models with DSC to a rasfiksiruyta also separate the socket (4) from pressure sensor.
  3. Turn out a bolt (5) and remove the hydromodulator, without carrying too far also deformation of brake tubes.
  4. Installation is made upside-down. In conclusion pump over the brake system.

The ABS/ASC T, DSC1, DSC2, DSC3 hydromodulator (to 09.1998 g of the issue)

  1. Installation is made upside-down. Be convinced of correctness of installation of a membrane damper of a diversion channel: the pin has to enter an opening. In conclusion pump over the brake system.
