11.7. Removal and installation of cables and pedal of the drive of the parking brake
Forward cable

|
|
- Take out a forward cable from a connecting clip.
|
- Remove the left lower section of finishing of the dashboard and the panel of finishing of the left forward rack of a body (see the Head Kuzov). Cast away a rug.
|
|
- To pull out a cable from a cover.
|
|
|
- Remove a clamp (1), unhook and take a cable.
|
- Installation is made upside-down. In conclusion adjust the parking brake (see the Section Adjustment of the Parking Brake).
|
|
Right and left cables
|
|
- Unhook draft from the razzhimny mechanism of blocks of the parking brake.
|
|
- Take out a cable of the drive of the parking brake from a connecting clip.
|
- Disconnect brackets of fastening of a cable to a body and remove a cable.
- Installation is made upside-down. In conclusion adjust the parking brake (see the Section Adjustment of the Parking Brake).

Pedal
|
|
For descriptive reasons work flow is described at the removed assembly of pedals. |
Details of the locking device
|
|
- Remove the lower left panel of finishing (see the Head Kuzov).
|
|
- Remove a clamp and to disconnect a forward cable.
|
|
|
- If necessary remove both heads of a lock pin (1) and take a pin.
|
|
|
At installation use a new lock pin. |
|
|
- Remove a damper (1), a lock bracket (2) and a pedal of the parking brake.
|
- Installation is made upside-down. Check a condition of the axial plug of a pedal of the plug and if necessary replace it. Grease the surfaces of sliding of the plug.
