11.8. Removal of D/V of stoplights and pedal of a working brake

D/V of stoplights

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove finishing of assembly of pedals.

Models to 09.1998 g of the issue.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Separate the socket of an electrical wiring of D/V of stoplights. Squeeze out a brake pedal. If necessary use for this purpose a strut. Extend a pusher with the plug up to the end forward (1), squeeze clips (2) and remove the switch the movement back. Installation is made upside-down. Slowly release a brake pedal in a starting position.

Models from 09.1998 g of the issue.

On all cars with the DSC system between a pedal of a brake and D/V of stoplights the gap in 0.7 mm has to be established. If at such gap faultless functioning is not provided, reduce a gap to 0.6 mm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Separate the socket (1), take out D/V of stoplights (2) from the holder (4) in the direction specified by an arrow. Squeeze out a pedal of a brake (3) and establish D/V of stoplights in the holder against the stop. Holding the holder, slowly return a brake pedal to a starting position and take away it back further away (against the stop).

Remove the left lower section of finishing of the dashboard (see the Head Kuzov). To remove D/V of stoplights. Remove lock brackets (1), take out a finger (2) and to remove a brake pedal. Installation is made upside-down. Check a condition of the axial plug of a pedal of the plug and if necessary replace it. Grease the surfaces of sliding of the plug.
