12.5.2. Removal and installation of a steering wheel, block of a safety cushion and its contact ring

- Disconnect a negative wire from the rechargeable battery.
|
|
At installation do not press cables. |
|
|
Models to 03.1999 g of the issue.
|
|
|
|
- Separate the socket of an electrical wiring of the pyro (1), the switch of a horn (2) and buttons of management on a steering wheel (3). Remove the block of a safety cushion and postpone its party face up.
|
- Establish a steering wheel in provision of the rectilinear movement (tags on a case of the steering mechanism and on the helmsman to a shaft have to coincide).
|
|
- Turn out a bolt, note the provision of a steering wheel of rather steering shaft and remove a steering wheel.
|
|
|
At a reversing of a bolt the lock spring (F) which holds a contact ring in neutral situation therefore for the purpose of preservation of operability of a contact ring it is not allowed to turn a steering wheel works until the bolt is not tightened. |
|
|
- Installation of a steering wheel is made upside-down. The lock pin (1) has to enter a nest (2).
|
|
|
- If necessary adjust a contact ring. For this purpose press a spring (F on an illustration), define the neutral provision of a contact ring, having halved its whole revolution around an axis and release a spring. Pay attention to coincidence of tags (1).

- Separate sockets (1 and 2), remove the block of a safety cushion and postpone its party face up.
|
- Establish a steering wheel in the situation corresponding to the rectilinear movement of the car.
|
|
- Turn out a bolt and remove a steering wheel.
|
|
|
- Installation is made upside-down. Tags on a steering wheel and on the helmsman to a shaft have to coincide. Lock pins (1) have to enter nests (2).

|
|
All models (replacement of a contact ring)
|
|
|
|
- At the removed steering wheel uncover and disconnect the wire going on weight.
|
|
|
- Turn out screws and remove a contact ring.
|
|
|
The lead (1) can be removed only after the contact ring is fixed on a steering wheel, – squeeze both ends and take out a lead. |
- Installation is made upside-down.
