12.5.4. Removal and installation of assembly of a steering column and sensor of an angle of rotation

- Disconnect a negative wire from the rechargeable battery.
- Remove a steering wheel (see the Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel, the block of a safety cushion and its contact ring).
- Remove the lower section facing of the dashboard (see the Head Kuzov).

- Remove a ring with bore (1).
|
|
|
At installation pay attention to the provision of a ring (1) in relation to a spring lock ring (2). |
- To remove the top casing of a steering column (see the Section Removal and installation of casings of a steering column).
|
|
- At the corresponding complete set disconnect draft of the Interlock system from the ignition lock.
|
|
|
- Turn out tightening a bolt and press on a steering shaft of the helmsman in the direction down.
|
|
|
At installation replace самоконтрящуюся a nut. |
|
|
- If necessary remove the sensor of an angle of rotation from a steering shaft.
|
|
|
- Cut down the disposable screw a chisel or cut off its head.
|
|
|
At installation install the expansion plug and tighten the disposable screw to an obryvaniye it on a neck. |
|
|
- Disconnect all wires conducting to a steering column, turn out the screw and separate the ignition lock socket.
|
- On models with automatic adjustment turn out bolts (3).
|
|
- Turn out bolts of fastening of the bearing pipe and remove a steering column.
|
- Installation is made upside-down. After installation:
- Establish compliance between an angle of rotation for the EDC and DSC systems and the actual corner.
- Check freedom of the course of a steering column on all range of adjustment in relation to the next details / pipelines.
