12.5.3. Removal and installation of casings of a steering columnTop casing

- Establish a steering column in the maximum lower and put-forward situation.
|
|
At installation replace an expansion nut. |
|
|
- Press on the top casing from two parties in the places noted by shading and extend it up.
|
|
|
- Bring a casing out of clamps and remove it.
|
|
|
- Installation is made upside-down. Bring hooks (1) to grooves (2).
|
|
|
- The bracket (1) has to be latched on a hook (2).
|
|
|
Lower casing
|
|
- Press on the top casing from two parties in the places noted on an illustration by shading and remove the lower casing, having pulled it down.
- If necessary release a leather cover from casing clips.
- Installation is made upside-down. The bracket (1 on an illustration) has to be latched on a hook (2).
