3.17. Replacement of cooling liquid

Replacement of OZh should be made on the cold engine. |

|
- Install temperature regulator in the provision of a heater in the provision of the maximum temperature. Uncover a radiator.
- Car front also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove the lower protection cover of a motive compartment and substitute under a radiator capacity for collecting the following OZh.
- On M52 and M62 engines turn out an opening stopper for pumping of the cooling system and a stopper of drain openings from the left and right side of the block of cylinders.

- Turn out a stopper of a drain opening in the bottom of a radiator and let's liquid flow down completely.
|
- Tighten the removed traffic jams with the required effort.
- Fill a broad tank with cooling liquid according to requirements of Specifications.
- Turn out an opening stopper for pumping of the cooling system and wait until OZh with bubbles ceases to act. Tighten a stopper.

On diesel models pumping of the cooling system happens automatically through the top tube to a separate broad tank. |
- Establish a cover of a radiator and a broad tank.
- Modify the OZh level and check the cooling system for existence of leaks (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks).
