4.6.12. Removal and installation of the vacuum pump

- Remove forward section of the top cover of the engine.
|
|
- Disconnect a vacuum hose (1) from the vacuum pump, turn out bolts (2) and nanosecond the vacuum pump.
|

The carving of bolts is covered with sealant. At installation use new bolts or apply Drei Bond 1209 sealant on old bolts. |
|
|
- Replace a sealing ring (1) and apply with a thin layer lubricant for sliding improvement. Expose a lead (2) of the vacuum pump concerning grooves on a camshaft asterisk.
|
- Further installation is made upside-down.
|
|
|
|
