4.6.9. Removal and installation of the oil cooler

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove protection of a case.
  2. Lower cooling liquid (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car).
  3. Remove the case of an oil filter.

At removal of the case of an oil filter the remained quantity of OZh flows down from the oil cooler in the engine case pallet therefore in order to avoid damage of the engine because of hit of OZh in motive oil it is necessary to replace motive oil after completion of works.

  1. Cover the generator to prevent its pollution.
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of the oil cooler (1) and remove it from the case (2) of an oil filter. If necessary rearrange a cooling system hose.
  1. Replace profile laying on the case of an oil filter.
  2. Clear the interfaced surfaces of a case of the engine, the case of an oil filter and the oil cooler.
  3. Install the removed components in the sequence, the return sequence of their dismantle.
  4. Replace motive oil (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car).
