4.7.11. Removal and installation of oil coolers

EGR system radiator

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove protection of a case of the engine. Remove a broad tank of the cooling system (see the Head of the Cooling system of the engine, heating, ventilation and conditioning). Remove the inlet pipeline. Separate all sockets of a plait of an electrical wiring between ranks of cylinders. Slightly raise an engine electrical wiring plait, separate the socket from the KL switch of pressure of motive oil, take an electrical wiring plait aside and fix it. Disconnect a water hose (1) from an EGR system radiator, weaken a collar (2) and disconnect a water hose (3). Weaken collars (1), remove right (3) and the left (2) tubes of the EGR system. At installation arrange collars (1) on former places. For installation of the inlet pipeline collars (1) have to remain in a free state. Weaken collars (1), turn out bolts (2) and remove a radiator (3) EGR systems. Installation is made upside-down.

Oil cooler

At removal of the case of an oil filter some remained amount of motive oil follows from the case in the space located under it with cooling liquid. To avoid damage of the engine owing to hit of motive oil in the cooling system, before installation of the case of an oil filter it is necessary to remove engine oil from space with cooling liquid.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove an EGR system radiator. Turn out a bolt (1), give cap nuts (2), pick up the distributive phone (3). Perform the operations described in paragraphs with 6 on 12 Sections Replacement of an Oil Separator of the PCV System. Uncover (1) full-line oil filter and take out the replaceable filtering element. Do not allow damage of a cover, give and tighten only it a face key. After removal of a cover oil flows down in the case pallet. At installation use new sealing rings of a cover. Weaken collars (1) and disconnect ventilating hoses (2). Turn out bolts of fastening of the case of an oil filter and remove it, having pulled vertically up. Remove laying of the case of an oil filter and clear the interfaced surfaces of the remains of sealing materials. If motive oil (1) got to OZh, bring together him by means of pure rags. Remove also the remains of motive oil and OZh from deaf carving openings (arrow) and from cavities (2). Clear the interfaced surfaces. Turn out bolts and remove the oil cooler. At installation replace laying (1), clear the interfaced surfaces (2) oil coolers (3). Installation is made upside-down. In conclusion pump over the cooling system.
