4.7.14. Removal and installation of the vacuum pump

- Press several times a brake pedal to reduce depression in the vacuum amplifier of brakes.

|
- Press a clamp (1) and at the same time disconnect a vacuum hose together with connection (2).
|
|
|
At installation check a sealing ring of connection and if necessary replace it. |
|
|
- Turn out bolts of fastening of the vacuum pump.
|
|
|
At installation clear a carving. Use new bolts or apply Drei Bond 1209 sealant on old bolts. |
|
|
- Turn out a bolt on the directing tube of the probe of level of motive oil.
|
|
|
- Turn the vacuum pump approximately on 30 ° clockwise, squeeze out the directing tube (1) of the probe from the vacuum pump (2) and remove the vacuum pump.
|
|
|
If necessary replace a sealing ring of the vacuum pump. |
