4.7.2. Removal and installation of heads of cylinders

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the rechargeable battery.
  2. Remove the top casing of the fan of the cooling system.
  3. Empty the engine cooling system (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car).

If OZh is not merged completely from the block of cylinders, at removal of a head of cylinders it gets to the engine case pallet.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the left camshafts and the inlet pipeline (see the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline).
  1. Remove yokes (1) and hydrocompensators (2) valvate gaps. Make sure of smoothness of the course of rollers of yokes.

The yokes, hydraulic pushers which were in operation should be established on former places therefore at removal stack them as appropriate.


  1. Release a water hose (2) from clamps (1) and take it aside.
  1. Weaken a collar (1) and disconnect a hose (2).
  1. Weaken a collar (1) and disconnect the soaking-up tube (2). Release the pipeline (3) from the holder, disconnect a hose (4), turn out a bolt (5) and pick up the soaking-up phone (2).
  1. Turn out bolts (1) from TNVD (3), take the pipeline (2) aside and remove TNVD.

At installation in case of need replace a sealing ring under TNVD cogwheel.


  1. Turn out both bolts on an air duct and remove it.

At installation in case of need replace a sealing ring not the end of an air duct.


  1. Turn out hollow bolts (1) and remove a pressure head oil pipeline (2).

At installation replace consolidations of bolts.


  1. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the head of cylinders directing in a forward part.

At installation use new fixture.


  1. Turn out bolts.

At installation clear the interfaced surfaces and replace laying of flange connection.


  1. Turn out bolts (1), disconnect pressure head pipelines (2) and remove the fuel distributive highway (3).
  1. Separate sockets of candles of an incandescence. Disconnect a wire (1), lift and fix a hose (2) and burn down (3) electrical wirings of the engine.
  1. Weaken collars (1 and 3) and disconnect a hose (4).

Do not pick up EGR phone.


  1. Turn out three forward bolts on a head of cylinders, and then bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders in the return sequence.

Bolts of fastening of heads of cylinders No. No. 7-10 and No. No. 1-6 differ in diameter (M10 and M12). Reuse of bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders is not admissible. For removal of a head of cylinders do not turn out completely a bolt No. 10.

  1. Remove a head of cylinders.

Glow plugs act over the lower plane of a head of cylinders, do not damage them, and also do not scratch the interfaced head surfaces.

  1. If necessary turn out glow plugs.
  2. Remove laying of a head of cylinders and clear the interfaced surfaces and all deaf carving openings on an engine case of motive oil and cooling liquid.

Pay attention to quantity of openings in laying of a head of the block of cylinders. You watch that the remains of sealing materials did not get to canals of giving oil and OZh.


  1. If on the block of cylinders the works causing change of a ledge of the bottom of pistons were not carried out, then it is necessary to use new laying of a head of the block with the same marking of thickness, as on old laying. Otherwise it is necessary to determine anew the repair thickness of sealing laying, having measured for this purpose a ledge of the bottom of all pistons concerning the plane of the block of cylinders. At a ledge from 0.92 to 1.03 mm use laying with 2 openings, and at a ledge more than 1.03 mm - with 3 openings.
  1. Fix bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders so that they did not act over the interfaced surface of a head of cylinders and carefully establish it.
  1. Insert all bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders and tighten them in the sequence specified illustrations.

Bolts of fastening of heads of cylinders No. No. 7-10 and No. No. 1-6 differ in diameter (M10 and M12).

  1. Tighten three forward bolts on a head of cylinders.

Right head of cylinders

If the established hoses of naduvochny air are not fat-free also damp, it can lead to failure of a turbocompressor.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Wring out a clamp (1), disconnect a fork (2) of the diagnostic socket and put aside.
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of a turbocompressor.

At installation clear the interfaced surfaces and replace laying of a turbocompressor.

  1. Remove both right camshafts and the inlet pipeline (see the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline).
  2. Remove yokes (1) and hydrocompensators (2) valvate gaps. Make sure of smoothness of the course of rollers of yokes.

  1. Turn out three forward bolts on a head of cylinders and bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders in the return sequence.

Bolts of fastening of heads of cylinders No. 7-10 and No. 1-6 differ in diameter. For removal of a head of cylinders do not turn out completely a bolt No. 10. Reuse of bolts is not admissible.


  1. Weaken collars (1 and 2) and remove a hose (3).
  1. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the head of cylinders directing in a forward part (see an illustration).

At installation use new fixture.

  1. Perform the operations described in paragraphs with 15 on 21.
